Duct banks and conduit systems
A duct bank is civil work built to the engineer's design: conduits spaced and secured, concrete encasement where specified, marker tape and tracer, mandrel-proofed and pull-stringed before anyone calls it done. We build single-conduit road crossings and multi-way banks for electric utility distribution — including the long bored crossings where open cut isn't an option, via our HDD practice.
Where we fit next to the electricians
Conductor installation, terminations, and energized work belong to licensed electrical contractors and utility crews; our lane is the civil construction that comes first — excavation, empty conduit and duct bank, backfill, compaction, restoration. That split is standard on utility projects.
Dig-once with everything else
Power raceway rarely travels alone. Where the electric utility's separation rules allow, we build it in joint trench with communications and gas — one cut, one restoration — and our fiber practice means the empty conduit that should accompany every power trench actually gets placed.
